The fully-equipped kitchen of the Villa Virtudes allows guests the freedom to cook their own food comfortably and at their leisure. Meals can be taken indoors or al fresco in the furnished terrace. The Funchal centre also has a variety of restaurants available, most serving traditional delicacies such as the Bolo de Caco (regional garlic bread variation) or the Espetada Madeirense (skewered meat), all accompanied by quality Madeira wine or the regional Poncha beverage.

What would you highlight about Villa Virtudes
We liked everything, great views over Funchal especially from the balcony and the upper floor, lovely garden to sit and relax in, houses facilities were fab, bus stops under 5 minutes walk away, bus to center of town was about 15 minutes maximum. Large Continente supermarket minutes walk away, although this was up hill, there was also a few other bars, eaterys, bakery etc etc outside the supermarket. Down hill was a couple of artisnal bakerys with fresh bread and cakes every day. also 15 minute walk to the nearest lavada walk, lavada piornais. Buses from end of road to Monte, the center of town, municipal swimming baths, lido area etc etc. Nearest bar minutes walk, also to remember that Madeira is a very hilly island and most walking trips will involve going up and down hills. Some travellers sometimes mark accommodation down for this but we personally feel that this is unfair. We also have to mention our host, met us at the accommodation, showed us around the property and if we had any issues we could contact, his father also came to property to water the plants in the garden. We all had a fab time. Cheers

Krásná vilka s moc hezkým, členitým a čístým interiérem a s výhledem na Atlantik. Přátelský a starostlivý majitel. na začátku pobytu předal klíče a již do ničeho nezasahoval.Naprosté soukromí. Perfektní místo pro výjezdy na jakýkoliv výlet po Madeiře.

Localisation au top avec une vue imprenable du patio au dernier étage. Grande Villa située sur les hauteurs de Funchal, au bout d'une impasse. Centre ville rapidement joignable en voiture. Proximité commerce pour faire les courses. Tout l'équipement nécessaire pour passer un agréable séjour en groupe !
